Google confirms closing Google+ after 7 years

Surprised sad-face?




Breaking news! For some people, that is. Google has just confirmed the decision. They will be closing GooglePlus, their own social network. All speculation aside, shutting down G+ is official now.

After 7 years, users will still have 10 months - to say their goodbye that way, and then it's over. Kinda sad, right? Oh well. It was only a matter of time.

Well, there is currently 5k+ of us there on Google+ but, we're also available on other social networks so, we'll be alright.
