Masculine older guys

They always say, "men age like wine". Then, women age like milk? They say men become more attractive as they age, meanwhile not so much the same for women, that older men, in their 30's, and up, are deemed more manly, more masculine.

Stability, seriousness, someone who is strong both as a person and physically. Many other reasons. They say men keep becoming more attractive as they age, but yet how is that so when mens testosterone levels decline as they get older? Isn't testosterone the hormone for masculinity, manliness?

  1. "They always say..." Yes, but words are only some wind blown. "They always say", and it happens sometimes.

  2. Your French Patrick is right. They always say - and sometimes tell the truth.

  6. Some people think that a person looks younger than their age. Like someone in their 50's may look like in their 40's. I take that as a compliment if someone thought I looked younger than my age.

It happens to me all the time. I tell them it's in my genes because my grandfather looked younger than his age too.

    1. Yup, usually it's a mix of good genes and also, healthy lifestyle. But it really depends from a person to a person. We gotta do what's the best for us in life, though.

    2. So true but I never had a "six pack" I went to a little "peg" lol. I used to work out but not anymore. But I still look great though for my age. My work out is doing the yard work and eat healthy!

    3. Well, I'd say that's a solid combination but still, some stretching at least, wouldn't hurt.

  7. Me? Hell, I lie about my age - I ADD 5 or 10 years. Makes folks think I look great for my age. LOL!!!
The worst thing about getting into the 60s - things start to droop. I miss my tight, round butt. Used to get so many compliments from women AND men.

    1. Haha, I giggled at the first line. It's a nice trick you've got there! And the second paragraph... That's completely normal. Can be (allegedly) slowed down with healthy eating and often exercise.

  9. I am with Sandra Cox. These are still pretty young guys. Ohhh, hey don't get me wrong they are all luscious and the cop can save me anytime. LOL

  10. I agree with Sandra and DVArtist. None of these guys are over 40. They are all gorgeous though. :)

  11. My real age has always been a big issue for me. When I was in university I was from 20 to 23yo and I looked like a 14yo teenager. I had to show my ID each time I wanted to go in a bar.

Now, I'm 69yo, all my hair on my head and no grey ones and totally hairless body. Some told me that I looked like a 50yo man. I'm not fit but I don't have a big belly and I have large shoulders because I'm a swimmer...

My issue now a day is that I cannot grow a beard and «bears» seem to be more interesting to many.
AND, must say that so much gay men are looking for young men so I'm single since 2011 and no hope to find a husband.

For sure, as you mention, men after 30yo are more manly and attractive but they are looking for younger guys or men around their age.

    1. You do seem like you're in the right state of your mind so, just be you, try to be a better person if possible and, my thoughts are... It'll happen.

You'll meet someone. Just try your best to be available as well. And present in the right places, where persons you'd like to meet hang out.

      Good luck, buddy! :)

  13. If you pay attention, it's true that the appearance of an average man's face looks younger than a woman's appearance. Maybe because the collagen levels in the male body more?

  14. If you notice there are some of us share similar reactions to the question in this blog. And most of it from what I see is true.

  15. Maybe it's just my opinion but I could be right or I can be wrong. What is your opinion on this subject?

    1. I think that it depends, on many factors and varies from a person to a person. It does seem that men are becoming more masculine as they age but, again, it's not a guarantee by any means.

Also, I believe the fact the man is a hard worker, can provide, has life experience, is a stable person... makes one a manly man that is desirable. Usually, this doesn't work with yougsters. So, age does matter sometime.

  20. The only thing I don't like about these men is their (huge) beards. Otherwise they are very sexy and absolutely desirable.

    1. 2 of them have huge beards while the other 5 men don't. Beard is also something that adds that extra masculinity, at least IMHO.
